How can international collaboration accelerate innovation in low-temperature and medium-depth geothermal energy?
Building on the GEOTHERMICA workshop held in Offenburg in February 2026, this follow-up event will bring together public authorities, funding organisations, researchers and industry to:
•Share progress and practical experience from geothermal projects.
• Discuss innovation needs and barriers to deployment.
• Identify opportunities for international cooperation.
• Explore envisaged GEOTHERMICA joint efforts focused on low-temperature and medium-depth geothermal innovation.
The workshop takes place one day before GeoTHERM expo & congress in Offenburg.
