MANAGEMENT
To coordinate all GEOTHERMICA consortium activities and ensure proper functioning of the project.
GEOTHERMICA will have a lean management structure with clear reporting, backed by firm operational procedures, and decision rules set out in the Consortium Agreement. Leverage and responsibility are indicated in figure below, ranging from the highest level (GEOTHERMICA Board) to the level of consortium partners.
GEOTHERMICA will have two distinct levels of responsibility and decision making. One level is designated to handle formal and strategic issues and one level will handle operational issues, including the available funding, project selection and project execution. The solid lines in figure indicate decisive power in a top down approach. The dotted lines indicate the most important interactions. Evidently, the European Commission will ultimately decide on the financial support to the project after finalization.
