CORDIS Results Pack issued an article about the latest innovative EU-funded research

In an article issued in March, the CORDIS Results Pack showcased twelve innovative EU-funded research projects which recently made a high impact in advancing the geothermal sector in Europe. GEOTHERMICA was one of them on the list and us at GEOTHERMICA are proud to be involved in creating the facility to help focus and target resources for the uptake and commercialisation of innovative geothermal technologies.
Europe aims to increase the share of renewable energy for direct heating and cooling, industrial processes, power generation and energy storage. Geothermal energy today is only utilised in a few niche market sectors and a few regions but has the potential to be much more widely utilised. 
The EU-funded GEOTHERMICA project promises to play a big role in making this a reality.
