Consortium agreement signed

The project with the duration of 60 months (1 January 2017 – 1 May 2021) and a total budget of €32 million bring together leading European Member States and Associated Countries. They will complement Europe's research and innovation community and as industry sector efforts, reinforcing the sector´s contribution to European Energy Union goals and the implementation of the SET-Plan.

Members of the GEOTHERMICA partnership has signed the final version of the consortium agreement in January 2017. 

The partnership is between the following parties:

  • Iceland - RANNIS (Icelandic Centre for Research )
  • Turkey - TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey )
  • Slovenia - MzI-DE (Ministrstvo za infrastrukturo)
  • Portugal - FRCT (Fundo Regional para a Ciência e Tecnologia)
  • Spain - MINECO (El Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad de España)
