Geothermica PARTNERS

GEOTHERMICA partners, 20 geothermal energy research and innovation programme owners and managers from 16 countries, have a public responsibility to support secure, sustainable, competitive, affordable energy for their citizens and economic activity and act on this responsibility by supporting research and innovation in geothermal energy.

The partners have established a foundation for a long-lasting collaboration within the GEOTHERMAL ERA-NET supported by the 7th Framework Programme (FP7). GEOTHERMICA seeks to expand the collaboration and cement its role as a “central pillar”, strengthening the European geothermal sector.

From 2023, GEOTHERMICA co-funded Horizon2020 project transformed into the GEOTHERMICA Initiative and its cooperation started  with seven public authorities from six different countries
